Crib and Crib HACK
In December I can believe it. Then we have another baby!
The last time was 7 jaar geleden, and the first time again 14 jaar!
You might think that I still have a lot of baby stuff in such a long period. Maar nee, Nothing is less true.
We still had a crib. But after four children all bedding is banned from the house after all. That meant looking for new stuff for me. I can tell you that this doesn't feel like a punishment at all to immerse me all over again in the world of the new born!
No more loose bedding
And how much has changed in the baby world in the meantime. Ease comes with age it seems! I found very smart bedding at baby and children's webshop: Witlof for kids de zogeheten Tuck-Inn blankets.
These smart blankets are made to mold completely around a mattress. This is because there is elastic in the corners. This ensures that your baby can never get cold feet at night again. Because the bedding always stays neatly in place.
This is of course safe, but also nice, because you also want your baby to have no discomfort (and neither are you!)

What is also very important is that because of the elastic you will never have a prop of blankets under your mattress again. This makes the feet a bit higher and you don't really want that. And of course it works really fast too! With such an elastic you have made the bed in no time.
But honestly, If they hadn't been so beautiful I wouldn't have chosen them. They also look super stylish!!
Baby room natural style
I chose a crib and a crib blanket. Our baby will be born in December, and these blankets are ideal for the cold winter months.
I chose the blanket: Beleaf Sage Green
I think the natural and green of the blanket is a perfect combination with the light pure wood in the room. I really want the baby's place to be a resting point, without too much stimulation.
In the beginning you still have the blanket very low because your baby is still small. This allows you to see the mattress cover very clearly. That's why I also have these from the same series Beleaf Sage Green a fitted sheet chosen.
How beautiful is the idea, that there will soon be a small head between the leaves!
First step the crib
Now you can of course put the baby in a crib. But in addition to a cot, my experience is that it is also very nice to have the first 4/5 months to have a crib. A crib is just a little easier to place next to your bed in terms of size. what is nice, if you feed at night. A crib is also ideal to have in your living room as an extra place to sleep.
I have a crib from the thrift store, and I found a perfectly fitting blanket.
Tuck-Inn crib/Maxi-Cosi blanket Color your world
this blanket Colour your world has a cheerful print, but remains calm in terms of color combination due to the earth tones. And I chose the matching series Once upon a dream Hazel brown. a swaddle (hydrophilic cloth) and a pacifier cloth.
Zo´n hydrophilic cloth is therefore a must have in your baby. They are very absorbent so ideal for drying. But you can also use them to wrap your baby nicely. This Swaddle¨ is extra large, so even easier to use as a shawl, or blanket.
Maxi Cosi
The Tuck-Inn crib blanket is also very useful for the pram and the Maxi-Cosi. In the Maxi-Cosi, this is very nice to take with you quickly without having to strap in a footmuff. The elastic keeps it well around the foot of the Maxi-Cosi!
This crib will be in the living room. An ideal place to put the baby down every now and then.
I'm already on my way with all this stuff! Actually a bit early, but the more time to enjoy it!
