Ik weet eigenlijk pas sinds kort wat u elementen zijn, maar daar kom ik zo op terug.

Het begon allemaal in mijn eigen buurt in Groningen. Ik zag ze staan voor een deur 2 kleine betonnen bankjes.

Ik vond ze meteen al hartstikke mooi om te zien. Je ziet het in de stad wel eens vaker dat mensen een bankje voor de deur op de stoep zetten om lekker buiten te kunnen zitten. Vaak zijn ze van hout, en soms van metaal. Maar beton zag ik eigenlijk pas voor het eerst in mijn buurt.

Bankjes voor de deur zijn ideaal als je weinig of geen tuin hebt en je wilt toch nog even dat ochtend zonnetje meepakken op een warme zomerse dag. Heerlijk met een kopje koffie erbij, toch buiten zitten in de binnenstad.

En dat moet de eigenaar van deze bankjes ook gedacht hebben. Het blijkt gewoon een tuin bouw/beton element te zijn. Blokken waar je van alles mee kunt bouwen in de tuin. En ze zijn ook nog eens heel voordelig . for less than € 18,- heb je al een “bankje” in je bezit. Heel creatief gevonden dus om van zo’n simpel bouw element een bankje te maken. En ook nog eens erg low budget, en daar hou ik van!
