We regularly change rooms at our house. This is sometimes very effortless with just a bed and cupboard change. But this time, the sisters felt like a total makeover. Another bed, and a different color on the walls!

The ocher gold (color flexible) Julie's room had to be old pink for Roos, in of Rose's room (which is now Julie's) will be taken care of shortly.

Budget friendly

If you buy smart, sometimes such a makeover does not even have to cost any money at all. We sold the girls' beds through Marketplace, and that's where we bought again 2 second-hand beds in return. And we bought paint in the online budget paint shop via Bol.com : Deco paint Old pink

We also sold some old accessories, and a pair of IKEA PAX doors. This way we were able to finance the new / second-hand stuff again.

In short, a real BUDGET makeover!

Bamboo bed

Bamboe is still complete ON TREND. And to my great joy I ran into a beautiful bamboo bed on Marktplaats. Can be picked up in the province of Friesland. For us 40 minutes drive, but I would have liked that.

Bamboo gives a lot of atmosphere to a room. And it is also a nice starting point for styling.

The black Rattan chair comes from the kringloopwinkel, and the goose lamp HEICO from a flea market. Night light comes from the ACTION,,en,It was a while since I was at the ACTION,,nl,Click on the photo for the VLOG,,nl the picture on the wall is from Junique (art shop)

And of course a girl has 11 need a workplace. The worksheet needs to be even bigger, but temporarily she now has a smaller leaf with 2 trestles (IKEA)

The rug comes from XENOS and the circle's black bar chair. The large wicker basket is also from the thrift store. Gray hangs in front of the windows wooden blinds. The fabric hanging lamp comes from KWANTUM.

This room already had a PAX cabinet with light blue doors. These doors were no longer a match with the room at all. Fortunately, they were very cheap doors from IKEA and we were able 2 wood colored doors PRESAND for €35,- pst. purchase again.
We sold the old doors again, so that we eventually had a total closet makeover for a few tens!
