Scandinavische landen staan bekend om hun behang traditie. Behang uit Scandinavië kenmerkt zich vaak door grafische printjes, veel kleur en vaak in een natuurlijk of modern/abstract thema.
Er wordt veel aandacht gegeven aan details, en door de vaak -toch wel strakke vormgeving- zijn Scandinavische printjes ook erg tijdloos.
Hoewel de kenmerken van een Scandinavisch interieur meestal licht, natuurlijk, en clean is, hoort behang met een kleurig printje ook bij die Scandinavische “vibe”. En hoe ver je daar in gaat heb je natuurlijk zelf in de hand.
Ik hou zelf het meeste van 1 accent muur met behang. Dus niet een complete kamer behangen( zoals vroeger vaak gedaan werd) maar 1 muur als blikvanger. En dan kan je ook best uitpakken met een opvallend printje.

Dit vrolijke behang heeft een typische Scandinavische grafische print. De bloemen zijn overduidelijk getekend. Omdat het behang best druk is zou ik het op 1 muur plaatsen als accent. Of in een toilet ook erg leuk!

Voor als je van iets minder kleur houdt maar wel van een print. Prachtig printje om bijvoorbeeld in een zwart wit interieur toch nog een subtiel kleur accent aan te brengen.
3. Natuurlijk behang: Boras Tapeter in bloom 7222
Dit behang is zo lieflijk vormgegeven dat het bijna romantisch is. Een zacht rustgevend behangetje uitermate geschikt voor in een slaapkamer.
4. Boras Tapeter in bloom 7201
Deze print is best donker, maar is hier gecombineerd met hagelwitte kozijnen en vloer waardoor hij extra knalt en niet donker wegvalt. Het is dus maar net hoe je het behang combineert.
5. Eco Simplicity 3661 Botanica
Deze print is toch wel mijn favoriet. Deze kleur is misschien best pittig maar het is net hoe je het combineert. Als muuraccent op 1 muur, of in een kleine lichte kamer is het effect hemels!
7. Eco Simplicity 3650 Dancing crane
Deze dansende kraanvogels zijn zo sierlijk vormgegeven dat het bijna bloemen lijken!
Aziatische kraanvogels zijn momenteel erg trendy. Dit komt mede door de Aziatische invloeden die zachtjes aan overwaaien naar het interieur.
Kinderbehang
Als laatste heb ik 3 inspirerende kinderbehangetjes uitgekozen.
8. Marimekko 23370
Het simplistische van deze illustratie vind ik dus juist zo mooi. Meer details zijn helemaal niet nodig om te kunnen begrijpen wat hier wordt weergegeven. Als je goed kijkt ontdek je de mooiste diertjes in dit behang verstopt tussen alle bloemen. Kleurrijk, bloemen en dieren, wat mij betreft 3 succesvolle ingrediënten voor een vrolijke kinderkamer!
