Rivièra Maison Recently I was approached if I thought it would be nice to get acquainted with Rivièra House. A Dutch furniture store al 70 jaar (!) active in our own country.
That alone is actually a reason to take a closer look at this interior brand. Want 70 having a store for years is of course quite an achievement in itself!
From floral art to interior design
In 1948 Jacques and Dini Teunissen opened a flower shop 'Rivièra Bloemsierkunst' on the Amsterdam Overtoom. After long into the years 70 to have supplied professional floral art, began son Henk Teunissen (actually just) in 1985 met interior accessories. After that it went fast, and the shops shot up like mushrooms.
Of course I knew the brand well by name, but I had never brought anything home myself. In my experience Riviera has a rural appearance. And my house doesn't have this.
Nevertheless, I always believe that you can actually succeed with any brand. If you are able to combine smartly. That's why I'm going to introduce you to this brand in the coming time. And I let. see how I apply it in my own interior.

Rotan is back with a vengeance. The beauty of Rotan is, that it is actually a timeless product. It is more the form that betrays a certain time period. One years 90 Rotan chair can in some forms not be so cool to see.
But some models have a timeless look. Often the rule is the simpler form, the more timeless an armchair is.
Een rattan chair is also very easy to combine. It's one of those chairs that you can quickly add to it. You don't have to consistently continue this style in your home. Precisely by applying it as an accent, is your rattan pearl an eye-catcher!
My eye fell on the ¨La Mirage Wing Chair¨
The black base gives a tough look industrial look. The natural color gives a little warmth to the interior. We have a blue / gray floor so that is a nice warm addition.
Of course I can't inspire you with styling, without having Riviera in my house, so now i have the chair!
The great thing about this chair is that it is very tightly woven. No bars. This gives a bit of extra seating comfort.
Het white fur And I think the round cushion completes the picture. Just a little more seating comfort, and it just looks nice and warm with the rattan of the chair.
Now the seat is in wintry style, but later in the spring there will be other pillows. So you have a new look every time!
