Ik ben al jaren fan van Pip Studio Amsterdam.

Pip werd in 2007 opgericht door Anke van der Endt. Zij studeerde aan de Design academy in Eindhoven. Pip studio is een design label van Nederlandse bodem.

Douwe Egberts punten

Mijn liefde voor Pip begon ongeveer gelijk met de oprichting van het merk . Ik kocht zo’n 9 jaar geleden mijn eerste Pip theepot van de gespaarde Douwe Egberts punten van mijn opa. Mijn opa was overleden, en hij had nog 20 jaar aan punten in een doosje zitten. Het leek mij leuk om daar een blijvende herinnering van te kopen. Ik weet nog dat ik toen dacht dat ik met mijn schat aan punten minstens de hele Douwe Egberts winkel kon leegkopen, maar dat bleek een illusie. De punten vertegenwoordigen ongeveer de waarde van een theepot.

Verjaardags theepot

I was immediately in love with the teapot Pip with cheerful pink and red colors and a cute bird on it,,nl,A bit outspoken,,nl,but I do like,,nl,I decided this was a good choice to spend my grandfather's items,,nl,I thought it was the perfect birthday teapot,,nl,Every year,,nl,and that therefore all,,nl,he comes,,nl,x to be on the table at every birthday,,nl,Everyone in the family knows now that if the Pip pot on the table there is something to celebrate,,nl,And how nice is it to know that my old grandfather spared this pot together,,nl,He is still a bit,,nl,A pot that hopefully many more years will adorn our table,,nl,New collection,,nl,In the,,de,years there have been many new beautiful collections of Pip,,nl. Een beetje uitgesproken , maar daar hou ik wel van. Ik besloot dat dit een mooie keuze was om mijn opa’s punten aan te besteden. Ik vond het de perfecte verjaardags theepot.

Elk jaar (en dat dus al 9 jaar lang!) komt hij 6 x op tafel te staan bij iedere verjaardag. Iedereen in het gezin weet inmiddels dat als de Pip pot op tafel staat er iets te vieren valt. En hoe leuk is het dan om te weten dat mijn oude opa deze pot bij elkaar heeft gespaard. Zo is hij er toch nog een beetje bij.

Een pot die hopelijk nog vele jaren onze tafel zal sieren!

Nieuwe collectie

In die 10 jaar tijd zijn er nog veel nieuwe prachtige collecties van Pip geweest. Wat een prachtige kleuren! En door het gebruik van het Delfs blauw ook zo typisch Nederlands.

Royal white

Nu is mijn interieur stijl thuis een beetje rustiger geworden qua kleuren. Maar de Royal white collectie past daar wel heel goed bij. Zoals je misschien wel eens is opgevallen hou ik namelijk erg van Delfsblauw in combinatie met goud.

En dat zijn de kleuren van de Royal white serie.

Ik schaf nooit een hele serie in 1 keer aan. Ik vind het leuker om rustig te sparen, en een keer eens wat te krijgen. Ook het combineren met mijn oude servies vind ik juist leuk om te doen. “New meets vintage” om maar even weer op mijn style passie terug te komen.
