New colors

You would almost say a new year calls for new colors! Now I don't paint the walls every year, but any 1,5 a 2 years surely. Except that my walls will have already had a lot of life marks by then, I just really like to keep experimenting with color.

Eat-in kitchen Easy care

Flexa has something new. Easy care! Wall paint with an extra additive that makes stains easier to remove. Flexa allowed me to try this paint!
The timing was perfect because my dining room walls had turned pretty ugly by now. Also not crazy if you are there 1,5 years at least 4 let kids eat right in front of it.

The walls had turned black from the sofa, and around it there were grease stains from remnants of spaghetti and all kinds of other foods

In terms of color, the walls were now divided. 1 accent wall soft yellow and the rest is (muscle) wit.
I actually had this all the years that we lived here. The right wall was regularly given a different color, but the white walls remained white.
Giving white walls a color is sometimes a bit exciting.

I now know that it is actually not that exciting at all. A color accent on all walls can also make a room light and spacious. And in this case if you color all walls, you make the space more of a whole. It's going to embrace you.

Sandy Beach

I decided on a natural subtle color ¨Sandy beach¨ tint for the dining room. And then in the paint type "Easy care kitchen"

This because of the extra stain-resistant layer that I could use in the dining room.

The property of the paint is that it is practical 1 low covers. I did some parts twice

You sometimes miss the surface with your roller if there is structure on the wall.

In the photo you can clearly see the difference between white and the sandy color Sandy beach. You think for a moment that the result will be very dark. But when everything was ready, the room was as bright as ever!

Space is now complete 1 entirely. No more the division of the white and the yellow.

The color is still warm, and light enough because the room contains so much glass and lets in a lot of light.

A beautiful natural sand color, which is a perfect match with the thrift store's thrift store chair and school card Kringloopplus

Badkamer

The bathroom also needed a new spring-proof coat of paint. After a few years I got a little tired of the blue color. The water had also affected the paint layer, so a new layer was more than necessary.

I decided to replace the blue "Denim Drift" with the soft color

¨Perky Limestone¨

The result was so beautiful! Fresh, yet a warm one. The color has the resemblance to beige, but I think there is also a hint of warmth in it. A bit warmer than the color indicates on the Flexa website. (is also very computer screen dependent)

Perky Limestone is part of the color of the year palette 2021!

My bathroom is completely Spring proof! Bring on the nice weather!
