Sometimes the basis of the bathroom is good, but it is the accessories that are obsolete. You can think of an old toilet seat, or a wall shelf that has had its day. All things that you can easily replace and are affordable.

A while ago I showed you how I pimped the toilet with accessories. I used a lot of black accessories for this. I'm going to do this in the bathroom now!

I actually choose to 2 reasons for zwart. First of all, black can reach everything. If you already have a badkamer have a base color, (in my case beige brown) are you stuck with these colors, And you can't just combine everything with it.
White would contrast way too much in my bathroom and therefore seem a bit cheap. And suppose you have an older white bathroom, would never match another color of white exactly. Black is just an easy match!

The second reason is, that if you work with a fixed accessory color you make a space into a whole. If you place this chosen color in different places in the (bad) room come back you create a unit. Shower corner shelves

Een bathroom upgrade can go in steps. I could also use a new bathroom door, but if you don't immediately have the budget to completely adjust everything, just do this step by step.

This time I chose to use the shower corner shelves to replace. The wall shelves were certainly already 20 years old and made of glass. I wanted a good quality alternative in return, and no temporary suction cup racks. These are the things you buy to save money, but eventually had to throw it away after a year (after it's there 100 x is afgedonderd)

What I have now learned is that real quality sometimes just costs a little more, but you are here 20 year ahead. Just like those ugly glass shelves that have been hanging there for centuries!

The funny thing was, the brand Tiger I already know from the thrift store! In the years 70 they were also known for their sanitary facilities. And the fact that they still exist, indicates that it is not junk what they sell.

I also immediately didn't feel like putting ugly plastic colored bottles in it! Such racks just deserve shampoos in style!

The shelves are nice and spacious, and heavy. They are fixed with screws in the joint of the tiles. There were already holes from the previous boards, so this was easy. The place has already been determined!
