The classic herringbone
There is no floor that creates the same atmosphere in the house as a herringbone floor. The iconic pattern owes its luxury, traditional look to the rich history. Centuries ago, the intricate herringbone pattern was placed in houses of people who could afford it. These were often country houses or castles. The floor still has that chic look. The classic herringbone floor, a wooden floor in herringbone pattern, is immensely popular, despite the high prices. You can say that this floor is completely back! And the great thing is that a herringbone pattern is also timeless. Laying the pattern is quite labor intensive. This partly explains the higher price you pay for a real wooden herringbone floor.
Parquet
Many herringbone floors are modern. Parquet is then laid up to the wall. But there are also classic finishing methods that were mainly used by the piping in the 1930s. That is a frame of the floor, usually in a different color. The band is the wooden edge between the wall and the frame. Parquet in Hungarian point is similar to herringbone, but has a slightly different pattern. The difference: with a herringbone floor there is an angle of 90 degrees. At a Hungarian Point, the shelves are at an angle of 45 tot 60 degrees.
Pvc
With herringbone you don't necessarily have to choose classic wood. Materials such as PVC and laminate are usually much less expensive. And PVC is really an emerging trend.
PVC floors are easy to maintain, hygienic, moisture resistant and applicable in combination with underfloor heating. The thickness of the top layer determines the quality of the PVC floor. A herringbone floor gives the interior the same luxurious appearance, warmth and a special pattern.

Choose you pvc herringbone with wood texture, the visible pattern can be felt in the planks. With vinyl floors you have a wide choice in vinyl wood anyway. The vinyl price is affordable compared to parquet. Natural looking vinyl wood can be laid in various laying patterns such as: herringbone motif,
