I am a mother 4 of children under the 8 jaar. That means 4x as many toys as 1 kind, but also 4 x was so much, and 4x as much clutter in your home.
I walked there often encounter if I had folded the laundry (a daily activity never ending story! ) I'd lie down in the laundry basket and all piles on the stairs that I myself could ever bring to all rooms (2 stairs up one of)
There are also always around personal belongings of the children scattered throughout the house.
Lego, cars, bouncing balls, barbies, is something in every corner of the house. This, too, disappeared down the stairs where then again days remained because nobody felt naturally called upon to take this upstairs.
When I had the idea to give a private box all children. A box that is not too big, and easy-to-wear, Oja and also another decorative!
At the H&M home I met them at
Bright colors and starting 3 euros each. Every child his own coloring which they could sort out myself (children's enthusiasm and involvement is tip 2 (-; ) . During the day everything lying around in the box.
At the end of the day everyone gets his own box to his / her room or to store it yourself.
And that the boxes sometimes stand in the living room, or in the hallway I do see a lot more pleasant than out all those separate little groups on the ground.
The youngest is of course a helping hand with the emptying of the box, but learned young is done old!
